What is Niku Karuta?
Niku Karuta is a card game where you find the matching card among photos of raw meat. You just compare outlines and marbling, so the rules take seconds to learn. Play the speed-grab Karuta mode or the flip-and-match Meat Memory (concentration).
Every card shows a photograph of raw meat. Look at the fat and the shape to find matching photos. PoKeBo offers two modes: Meat Karuta, a race to take the card matching the revealed photo, and Meatmory, where you turn over two cards at a time to collect pairs. In both modes, the player who collects the most cards wins.
Niku Karuta rules: how to play
Compare the photos closely
Every card shows a cut of raw meat. Use the outline and marbling as clues to spot the differences.
Choose Karuta mode or Meat Memory
In Karuta mode, be the first to grab the card matching the one revealed. In Meat Memory (concentration), flip two cards at a time to collect matching pairs.
Collect the most cards
In both modes, whoever collects the most cards wins. It tests your reaction speed and your memory for photos and positions.
You can also check the detailed rules and controls in the app's How to Play guide.
